At this moment the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has convened a task force to evaluate male circumcision and review the AAP’s official policy statement.  Presently AAP policy says the evidence does not warrant routine infant circumcision.  Therefore many state medicaid plans and insurance policies do not cover infant circumcision.

Just like measuring the penis, there is method to measure foreskin and how much you have. Natural (uncut) foreskins vary considerably between one man and another. Some uncut men have very little foreskin and may appear to be circumcised, others have a very long foreskin.

With the Coverage Index you can quantify how much foreskin you have no matter whether you’re circumcised or natural.

The Coverage Index is based on the amount of foreskin coverage a penis has. It ranges from virtually none (predominantly men who have been heavily circumcised) through to very long (predominantly uncut penises with very long foreskins). It has been designed so every man on earth can use this index to determine his CI number.

Because many circumcised penises appear to have the same amount of foreskin when erect (i.e. none) and many uncut penises appear to have the same amount of foreskin when soft (i.e. a large amount) it was necessary to develop an index that takes foreskin coverage in both the erect and soft states into account. When determining your CI number consider the amount of foreskin you normally have when soft and normally have when erect.

I wanted to run this guy on this site, because there are a couple photos showing  that he  is  CUT  but  also  UNCUT.  We call this  the  FRENCH  CUT  PENIS.  A partial  circumcision.

Dorsal slit ,  also  called “the French cut” by American physicians in the apparent belief that the French perform it in preference to circumcision where they consider intervention to be necessary.

For hundreds of years dorsal slit was practiced by millions in Indonesia, Malaysia, and parts of the Philippines until the recent invention of the Tara clamp. Thor Heyerdahl (Ancient Man and the Sea) says dorsal slit is the “circumcision” traditionally practiced in the Pacific by many Polynesians and other islanders. It was a way to “cut” the foreskin,  yet preserve some of the nerves and sensitivity.

 The chief reason dorsal slit was more or less abandoned in the USA was the appearance of the Gomco clamp and the Plastibell, both of which made a total circumcision nearly as easy to perform as a dorsal slit, even by a less-than-skilled surgeon. Which means  the lazy ass US  doctors found it easier and faster to just whack off ALL OF THE  SKIN.  They sliced off SO MUCH of my my foreskin, it actaully hurts if I am erect for long periods.

If parents insist on circumcision, DO NOT REMOVE ALL OF THE SKIN!  It  is  TOTALLY  UNNECESSARY! Give your boy a French cut or a loose circumcision, or better  yet,  LEAVE  IT ALONE and let the boy decide later in life!
